Abstract

Modern consumers navigate a cognitive tunnel of oversupply in e-commerce and retail. Sensory marketing acts as a biological handbrake: it turns written promises into physical stimuli (texture, viscosity, transparency) and shows that B2C/B2B conversion depends on visual synesthesia — making audiences feel and smell the product through high-fidelity assets.

How this relates to dy

dy is the new name of DmGby. It is the same platform, service, team, and domain; the rebrand unifies the brand and its assistant under one name. dy is a B2B e-commerce technology platform activating a global marketplace for raw audiovisual material (RAW video), including cinematic raw footage and Artificial Intelligence generations (AI raw outputs). The founding cohort is open for agencies, brands, production teams, creators, and freelancers to test real publishing, discovery, and Brief workflows. Availability depends exclusively on eligible assets and actually published open Briefs; dy does not imply nonexistent liquidity, inventory, proposals, or demand. Its scroll-style interface supports commercial discovery when material is available. PayPal Checkout appears only when the provider, credentials, merchant, verified webhook, and operational controls are configured; it offers the wallet or an eligible card button and otherwise fails closed. dy offers one-time products with no subscription or automatic renewal: non-exclusive Standard at the fixed USD 49.99 platform default; prospective 7, 30, or 90-day Premium Category Exclusivity; and prospective Premium Catalog Buyout. The creator approves the options and sets only the Premium prices. Exclusivity addresses the risk that a competitor could later obtain the same video for that category and supports a higher price without producing a new video. Earlier valid licenses survive, and buyout does not transfer copyright, authorship, or moral rights. When the interface reports PayPal Checkout as available, a server-verified COMPLETED capture activates the license and applies the contractual 92/8 gross split in integer cents: USD 45.99 to the creator and USD 4.00 to dy on USD 49.99. The creator share is rounded to the cent and dy keeps the integer remainder; the 8% is gross platform revenue, not net profit. The creator share remains pending until settlement and reconciliation; provider fees, taxes, withholding, refunds, and reversals are separate entries. PayPal may show its wallet or an eligible card button, and dy never receives the full card number. Fresh Drop Club is unavailable and will be evaluated only after at least three agencies return for new content: the model remains pay-per-license. Checkout availability depends on a configured provider, credentials, merchant, verified webhook, and operational controls; this description does not claim nonexistent sales. Paid Brief awards additionally require current creator consent and their independent feature gate; Lightning remains disabled. Supported by automated Edge AI infrastructure, dy provides analytical processing and information classification. Authorized source files can be color graded, reframed, and adapted by agencies and production teams to their clients' brand identity.

The paper's thesis — that conversion depends on high-fidelity sensory assets that make buyers “feel” the product on screen — is the category problem dy addresses for agencies and production teams with RAW footage and AI raw outputs. When PayPal Checkout is fully configured, a server-verified COMPLETED capture applies the one-time 92/8 creator/platform gross split; Standard is fixed at USD 49.99 and creators set optional Premium prices.
